Subject: Tidbit - CNET Central Windoze Demo Disasters

Keyword: Advocacy, Why Macs Are Better

This tidbit is from:

Bob West

In his current CNET column, Richard Hart talks about the agonizing
contortions he goes through prior to shooting en edition of the "CNET
Central" television show. The "hours of trial and error" attempting to
set up product demos are a trial, indeed.

In the story, he confirms, "On the PC, it's still very much
plug-and-pray. Our bitter experience installing and uninstalling
applications and drivers every week for these demos allows me to say this
with complete confidence."

He goes on to say, "This weekly routine makes me want to thank Apple for
Macs, because this part of demo hell doesn't apply to them" -- and he
gives a for-instance.
