This quote appears in an article on how to beat the Year 2000 problem in 
the Feb. issue of Money magazine:

"All Macintoshes are Y2K-compliant, and the vast majority of PCs made 
after 1995 are supposed to be, but you don't know for sure until you 
test. A Defense Department official who in May 1997 purchased 30 laptops 
with Pentium chips that were alleged to be Y2K-compliant found that 12 
failed when he put them to a date-change test."
