Subject: I can do more for my music

I’m a 19 year old music engineer who built my own home recording studio
in my basement at the age of 17. From the very beginning it was a
digital studio based around my compaq pc running cool edit pro.

I interned at the Gentleman’s Club recording studios in South beach, FL,
that was running Digidesign ProTools on Power Mac G4s in every studio.
Sitting there with the Mac and working with ProTools, the OS just seemed
so intuitive. Besides the fact that ProTools appeared to be the best
application i’ve ever used. I started playing around with other apps.
They had a PowerBook there with iMovie and iTunes. I fell in love with
iTunes right away. The search field and playlist made the huge library
of music on the computer easily accessible.

When i returned to my home studio, within 2 weeks I had my Power Mac G4
running ProTools. I can do more for my music and my customer’s music,
not to mention doing it faster and easier than i ever could with my PC.
My Mac never crashes, lets me get my work done the way i want to, and
has become the envy of all my friends.

It’s hard to describe how thankful i am that Apple is making these
machines and software that lets me do the things i do with music as well
as the business end of it. Thanks.
