Subject: I fell in love with the PowerBook

I fell in love with the PowerBook G4 and the company behind it, and
decided to go ahead and make the switch, assuming that the pleasure of
working with such amazingly elegant and beautiful hardware and software
would more than compensate for all the hassles I would surely encounter
being a Mac guy in a PC world.

I’ve now had my PowerBook for over 6 months, and recently purchased a
flat panel iMac for my home. I love both computers, and the pleasure of
working with them have exceeded even my high expectations. And, about
those hassles, well, they simply never materialized.

I run my own small business, which is a provider of electrical and
electronic products and engineering services to industrial customers in
Latin America. In doing so, I travel frequently and am constantly
hooking up my computer to different types of networks, Internet
connections and LCD projectors for presentations. All of these
connections have been much easier with my Mac than they ever were with
my previous Windows machines!

I installed MS Office for Mac OS X, and all documents, spreadsheets and
presentations are completely interchangeable with PC users. I have no
problem attaching to Windows networks and sharing files. And, since one
of the hats I wear is IT guy for my company, I am constantly reminded of
the simplicity, elegance and beauty of my Macs every time I troubleshoot
someone’s PC!

I’ve been a computer enthusiast as long as I can remember, and my Macs
have opened up a whole new world for me. I enjoy using computers more
than ever. And frankly, I can’t say I mind that strangers are constantly
admiring my PowerBook and asking me about it!

To me it’s simple. Apple just makes better computers. I made the switch,
and I couldn’t be happier that I did!
