Subject: His-And-Hers Switch

We were looking to get a new computer for Christmas. I had always worked
on PC’s... through college and at my job as a marketing associate for an
investment firm. I thought I was a tried and true PC user, until my
fiance and I started playing around with Macs at our local store.

He’s a professional golfer and was looking for an easy way to capture
his swing on video, edit it and send it to his coach for quick swing
analysis on the road. His coach is a die-hard Mac user and got us
interested when he showed us what he could do on his Mac. His coach had
not yet ventured into OS X, though.

We fell in love with the new Aqua interface and thought that the Macs
were user friendly and ideal for our digital pictures, video editing,
CD-burning, etc. Plus, the addition of an iPod could put music right
into our hands. We ordered the new 800 mhz iMac, but couldn’t wait for
it to get to us, so we also bought a 600 Mhz iBook.

We have the iMac at home and our iBook out on tour with us, plus all of
our digital toys. We watch DVDs during plane trips, load songs into the
iPod and take pictures using a digital camera, which we either email to
our loved ones, or burn to CD to send home. It was a his-and-hers
switch, with machines for both of us to enjoy!

We love everything about our new Macs, they’re more user friendly and
just make sense to use. The switch was simple... We’re just not sure why
we didn’t do it earlier.
