Subject: I’ve completely crossed over

Well, I will admit, originally I was one of those people who was
completely anti-Mac. I had used one back in the very early 90’s but
never again until recently.

I started film school last fall and the
school I go to had just bought a whole bunch of new G4’s over the summer
and those are what we use to edit our videos. I also had one graphic
arts class which also used Mac’s, so there wasn’t a PC in sight. It took
minor getting used to but the switch wasn’t too difficult. I still had a
PC at home but I became comfortable with the G4’s fairly quickly. It was
then that I moved closer to school and the only computer I could take
was an old Pentium 100 which drove me absolutely crazy. It was time to
buy a new computer. In the beginning I was just going to get a new PC
but I started thinking about Mac’s and how I’d probably be using them
all the time in school. I wasn’t anti-Mac anymore, I was right in the
middle, and in the end, I bought a brand new G4 complete with a 17” flat
monitor. I’ve had it for about 4 months now and I think I can say I’ve
completely crossed over to the Mac side of things. I love my computer.
It’s beautiful! And so powerful! It saved me from fighting for editing
suites over at the school. I do all my editing at home now and my
computer never crashes! I find when I go back home to the PC I’m always
looking for the apple key, but it’s not there. Anyway, I love my Mac!
I’d recommend them to anybody, and regardless of what people say,
they’re very easy to use. Don’t believe anything until you’ve tried it
yourself!
