Subject: Friendly Unix

I recently bought my first Mac — an iBook 14”, and I love it. I do web
development, and have been using various Unices for about 10 years. I’ve
always had to save half my hard drive so I could run Office and let my
girlfriend browse the web and do her work.

I’d been eyeing OS X since it was announced, and I have to say that
Apple has done a spectacular job creating what I never thought was
possible... a Unix that my girlfriend can use.
