Subject: The computer should do the work

I have a degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri, and
I used to do technical support, configuration, planning, and consulting
for large, multinational corporations such as IBM, Marriott, Norwegian
Cruise Lines, and Worldcom.

Although highly trained in the “legacy Microsoft Windows-Intel” personal
computer technologies, I have switched to the Macintosh platform and
recommend it for most of my clients now.

Personally, I have only Macintoshes at home and in my consulting
business.

Apple has given the world the ability to jump to the next level in
computing: where a person or organization can use computers to be
productive rather than having to spend so much time and energy (and
computing resources) on the computers, integration, and technical
matters for their own sake.

I prefer to use computers to do work rather than have to work just for
the computers.
