Subject: Mac for non-linear editing I had been an avid PC user since 1990. My feeling has always been that Macs are for the lazy people, who do not want to learn how to use a PC. Little did I know at that time, how, I would grow to love the features of the Mac with OS X. After buying a video camera and trying linear editing, I wanted to move to non-linear editing. I did a lot of research on the Net, in magazines, etc., I was very fearful of going to the Mac, because I knew the PC in and out. However, my research kept pointing to the Mac as the best video editing and photo editing machine. Finally, I took the plunge in the Summer of 2001 to the G4 with Super Drive. Video editing was so simple and effective with iMovie. The PC still has its features, but for video editing and photo restoration, there is NOTHING like the Mac with OS X. - JB |
