Hi there. I'm a longtime Evangelista lurker, another Mac user on the
front lines of the battlefield against Windows 95. I've recently been
wounded on the field, forced to upgrade my work computer from a Quadra
800 to a high-end Digital Wintel PC.

I took advantage of the situation by writing a detailed essay documenting
the myriad annoyances of this machine. It can be found at

I'm not trying to be self-promoting here; the Evangelist has given me a
lot in all the months I've been reading it, and this is my way of trying
to give something back to the community. Very few of the pro-Mac articles
I've read talked about the subtle day-to-day irritations of Windows 95,
and so I wrote the above to try and fill that gap.

Comments are welcome, of course. And while my office may have fallen to
the Microsoft Mentality, after using Windows 95 firsthand, I'm REALLY
hanging on to my Quadra, and prouder than ever at Apple's terrific
computer...
